To be honest with you I had never heard of this band before I received this, but I must say I was positively surprised when lightning struck me, 'cause this is plain Heavy Metal in the old NWOBHM vein.
Unfortunately I have no real info on this band, so I can't really tell you anything apart from the music featured on this little record. Here we get (unfortunately only) two songs entitled "No Angel or Demon" and "Bury your head in the Sand" and they strictly follow the old rules of NWOBHM, you could say. The first song goes in the vein of bands like Witchfynde, while the other side is more like old Black Sabbath. It is no secret that this band evokes feelings in me that I haven't felt since I discovered Angel Witch, Witchfinder General and the likes. Alone that fact must be reason enough to check this out.
I have a real hard time to imagine this being a new band, as it totally sounds like some old forgotten British band, but ofcourse you can always be lucky to discover bands keeping this style alive (Bands like Gorgon from Japan are still in the kindergarten compared to this sonic blast of rocking metal mayhem). Even the recording itself (production wise) has an overwhelming obscure atmosphere. Listen to HEAVY bass lines on side B and you'll know how this music should be played. This band sounds cult!
